Born in Zagreb on 30 October 1979, she completed the II Gymnasium in Zagreb before graduating from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2004. During her studies, she already displayed a strong interest for aesthetic dentistry, becoming a member of the Faculty Council as the student representative, and became involved in numerous extracurricular activities, such as serving as a demonstrator in the Anatomy and Physiology courses.
She won three Dean’s Awards for the best student, and won a state scholarship for talented students. She collaborated in two scientific papers published in scientific journals: Vrijednosti salivarne peroksidaze u bolesnika s oralnim lihen planusom, Acta Stomatologica Croatica, Vol.37 No.3, (September 2003) and The prevalence of lateral incisor hypodontia and canine impaction in the Croatian population, Collegium Antropologicum (0350-6134) 32 (2008). She undergoes regular professional training at congresses, and has focused her work on the treatment and prosthetic reparation of teeth. She speaks English.
